Korea Revises KC Energy Efficiency & MEPS Standards

MOTIE has issued an administrative notice on a partial amendment to the Efficiency-Managed Equipment Operation Regulation (Feb. 7, 2025).
The amendment strengthens efficiency standards and integrates similar items to enhance energy savings.

Key Updates
• Upgraded efficiency ratings & MEPS for air conditioners, heating/cooling units, washing machines, and ballast-integrated lamps.
• Multi-electric heat pump systems integrated into multi-type air conditioners & heating/cooling units.
