On January 21, 2025, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released Class Assignment No. 1 of 2025, updating the authorized usage of radio frequency bands in Malaysia. This replaces Class Assignment No. 1 of 2024 and introduces key changes.
Key Updates:
New Frequency Bands for Use in Malaysia:
5925 MHz – 6425 MHz
6425 MHz – 7110 MHz
7725 MHz – 8275 MHz
8275 MHz – 8500 MHz
Usage Conditions: Defines technical specifications and operational requirements for these bands.
Compliance Requirements: Businesses must adhere to the updated regulations to avoid penalties.
